I offer weekly online group pregnancy yoga and postnatal yoga classes and one to one or group classes on request.
Pregnancy Yoga
Pregnancy Yoga to nourish you and your baby & prepare you for birth
These classes help prepare your mind, body and emotions for birth and support you as you journey towards motherhood.
They are specifically modified for pregnancy and include exercises which will help:

Ease common pregnancy symptoms & create space in your body - improve posture & circulation, ease pelvic girdle pain, fatigue, insomnia, back pain & aching joints.

Prepare your body for birth - strengthen your major muscle groups and practise active birthing positions.

Bring awareness to your pelvic floor - bring awareness, integrity and tone to your pelvic floor to prepare for birth and your postnatal recovery.

Teach you breath techniques for pregnancy, birth and motherhood - learn breath techniques to help you relax, find space in your body and to support you during birth and beyond.

Teach you how to relax at will - learn techniques to activate the relaxation response in your body for an easier birth & to reduce anxiety and stress.

Encourage you to trust your instinct and intuition - trust your body’s ability to give birth.

Connect to yourself and your baby - give you time and space to slow down, rest and turn inwards.

Acknowledge birth as a rite of passage - explore how you feel about birth and motherhood in a safe and supportive space.

Meet other expectant mamas – share your experiences and support one another.
Suitable from your second trimester onwards.
Postnatal Yoga
Specifically designed to support you and your incredible postpartum body.
These sessions are designed to:
Build strength and awareness in your deep core
Ease common ‘motherhood’ aches and pains
Learn breath and relaxation techniques to soothe any postpartum anxiety
Give yourself the chance to be held, supported and nourished.
The sessions include:

Breath exercises.

Pelvic floor and abdominal exercises to assist your recovery and to build a strong foundation that will support you for years to come.

Shoulder and chest opening postures to relieve the aches and pains of motherhood.

Upper and lower body strengthening exercises to support you in everyday tasks with your baby.

Restorative poses and relaxation.

Community time will other mamas to share your highs, lows and in-betweens.
Suitable from 6 weeks post-birth following your medical check-up. Babes very welcome too.
